About YODAA

The Young Ostomate & Diversion Alliance of America (YODAA) provides both community and resources to young adults with ostomies, diversions, or are preparing for a similar surgery. Here you will find information about our national events, local events, helpful resources, and ways to stay connected in this community. Beyond that, we have photos from our events, and information on joining YODAA.

YODAA is dedicated to providing education, information, support, and advocacy as it addresses the concerns of those young adults 18 to 35 years of age who have or may have intestinal or urinary diversions or alterations. We are over 300 strong, from all over the country and beyond, and we are growing. It is easy to join.

YODAA is an Affiliated Support Group (ASG) of the United Ostomy Associations of America (UOAA). The UOAA provides a discussion forum for YODAA. Anyone can view but can post to the board after a simple registration process.
